It’s the heroine capital of the UK!

The most recent issue of Dante’s Heart went up about a week ago, and I am pleased to be able to point you towards a story of mine called The Fiddler.

It’s a tale about Aberdeen, where I spent some time in college, and it may or may not be true.

Incidentally, if you’re in the Ottawa area, you can hear me tell this same story at the 4th Stage of the National Arts Centre next Thursday, the 18th of June at 7pm. I’ll also be singing various sundry ballads of Faerie, and you can also hear the mad storytelling skills of Gail Anglin and Kim Kilpatrick. We did pieces of this set last summer at the Lumiere Festival, in costume. We will not be in costume next Thursday, so here is a picture to satisfy your curiosity:

I think that’s about all there is to say about The Fiddler. I’m certainly getting a lot of mileage out of that rascal!
