I just “finished” a story that I’ve been working on for two and a half years. It’s about dreams, and cards, and public transportation, and it has a flying machine. And a red frock coat.
I have been working on it for so long that I am no longer capable of telling whether or not it makes sense. I think it does, but I’m not sure.
Would anyone like to read it, and give an opinion? It’s on the longer end for a short story, but it has lots of shady characters to make up for it.
And I know how you lot like the shady characters.

Yes, please!
Ooo, thank you! Hmm, how can I get your email address without you having to tell the whole internets?
I PM’d you!
I would love to read it, if you need “hey, this makes perfect/absolutely no sense” readers. Need me to toss you an e-mail addy?
Whee, thank you! I will need your address… I think you have mine from GF submissions…
Yes, of course! Please!
Yipee! Thank you! I’ll email it – is your Marlboro account the right place to send it?
P.S. I wrote you an actual paper letter like, two months ago but have not sent it because I am an idiot. Also, I lost your address.
Great! yes, my Marlboro address is still my primary email. The paper letter you can hang onto a while longer–I’m looking into moving, so I don’t want it to get lost in the shuffle! I’ll let you know, though, and be looking forward to it!
Okey dokey!
oooh! pleeeaaasseee may I read your story??? 🙂
Goody! I’ll send it along via email!
Oh! I’m interested. I’ve been working on improving my attention span lately, so I think I should be able to handle it.
Thank you! I’ll send it along!
